What is Compassion Health?

Compassion Health is a multi-day free health exposition featuring the following professional and general help services:

Professional dental services
Healthy lifestyle guidance (facilitated by certified personal trainers and professional dietitians)
Mental and spiritual health education and counseling
Many other health and general help services (massage therapy, haircuts, tailoring, etc.) lifestyle education, spiritual and other

This amazing initiative is organized by students and young professionals and executed in collaboration with various medical and health professionals, non-profit and charitable entities including the British Columbia and Ontario Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.

Why is Compassion Health needed?

For various reasons, many cannot obtain the health services they need and seek. Financial difficulties often present a considerable barrier for access to common medical and other general health related services. The purpose of Compassion Health is to be a one-stop clinic that offers a wide variety of greatly beneficial and sought-after health and general help services all free of charge. No identification* or insurance coverage is required TO access services. Services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Seventh-day Adventist Church

The Seventh-day Adventist Church in Canada is the Canadian branch of the global Seventh-day Adventist church, has more than 6,500 churches and congregations, and operates approximately 1,200 educational institutions (Pre-K—graduate school) comprising the second largest parochial educational system in the world. Through its Adventist health networks, the church provides health care to approximately 17 million people worldwide. The Seventh-day Adventist Church is dedicated to spreading the Christian message of love and compassion throughout the diverse communities of Canada and the world.
